The cold weather has returned to Cincinnati very rapidly this season. What does this mean for the turf at Hyde Park? Snow Cover especially on the Zoysia grass fairways is a pleasant sight to see. Meyer Zoysia has one of the highest cold tolerances for a warm season grass. With that said, it is a warm season grass, extreme temperatures and desiccation can cause plant injury. Snow cover can help insulate the turfgrass plant from the extreme temperatures and wind. So let it Snow!!!
